CCMA X PASOS NETWORK
SOCIAL JUSTICE CONVENING IDENTITY DESIGN
THE BRIEF — I designed comprehensive digital and print materials for a first-of-its-kind collaborative convening between CCMA and the PASOS Network — unifying two separate visual identities into a single, cohesive temporary brand that gave the gathering a memorable, professional presence from registration through closing.
STEP 1
STYLESCAPE
The concept for the conference focused primarily on building a clean, bright, and trustworthy presence for the shared convening — balancing both organizations' identities through a structured layout, warm typographic choices, and intentional use of whitespace to convey professionalism and approachability.

STEP 2
DIGITAL SCHEDULE
To reduce paper waste and improve accessibility, I designed a scannable multi-page digital schedule accessible via QR code, covering the two-day agenda, event map, speaker bios, and sponsor acknowledgments.
STEP 3
EVENT SIGN UP HEADER
I presented a web banner in two variants for the event registration page to organization directors. The photo-only version was picked. The branded photo acts as a first visual touchpoint for prospective attendees.
STEP 4
DIRECTIONAL
EVENT SIGNAGE
Physical event signage was produced to guide and welcome attendees throughout the venue, maintaining visual consistency with the overall event branding. This element of the event identity was heavily inspired by the Chicago star found in the PASOS Network's logo, which had been requested to utilize more often in designs.
STEP 5
SPEAKER GIFT
AND EVENT STICKER
I designed a commemorative framed illustration gifted to guest speakers, carrying the visual theme established by the Sister Thea Bowman sticker. Illustration took inspiration from Dominican University's gothic-style windows.
